What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? Why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It's a strategy for marketing that is designed to draw potential customers to your site. It is a process of selling that involves a person visiting your website to look up information that will solve their problem. You can build a relationship through specific tools.

This will allow you to better understand the needs of every user. This will allow you to give the most accurate information to all your visitors. If you gain the trust of a visitor they are more likely to buy your products. This visitor will then become a customer.

Many customers become regular customers and are more likely to purchase each item on your site. A marketing funnel consists of the various stages of the sales process will convert a regular visitor to your website into a loyal customer who wants to purchase everything you can throw at them.

This is the main objective of every online marketer. It is achievable by using a funnel that is well-designed.

You've got the marketing tools to grab people's interest and bring them into your funnel. Once they've completed the form on your PERSONAL lead capture page they will be added to the funnel. Because they are not going to opt into your lead capture page for business I'm using the term "personal". They are looking to be a leader and not a business.

The lead capture pages are the gateway to the funnel. Once they click "Signup Now" or "Enter There" and they'll be able to enter a completely new concept of marketing via network.

The best part is that they are qualifying themselves to be able to do it. It's up to them. You've not offered anything other than that you're a leader, mentor and someone who will show them how to increase leads and more money in their businesses.

This is how a standard marketing funnel works:

The "front-end", you can make a promotional offer that will attract and qualify prospective customers who may be interested in purchasing your products further down the sales funnel. In order to get the free product, people have to sign-up (also called opt-in) and provide their email address and their name which in turn are added to your email list.

Once you have your contacts on your account, you are able to make them aware of offers that are similar to theirs.

Signing up for the complimentary offer will take them to a page with low-price offers or what's called"a "trip wire offer". This is the point where they go to the "back-end of the funnel."

The purchaser are taken to another similar offer with a lower price when they buy the lower-cost offer (also called an upsell). If the person buys the more expensive offer, they will be taken to another related product at a higher price. This could go on for a long period of time.
