Passport Services Where To Get Your Passport Fast

Dec 22

Getting a Passport quickly and efficiently is not as hard as you might think, though there are a few things that you should be aware of before applying. The type of passport you need, how soon you want to travel and if there are any other travel requirements will all impact the timeframe for your passport to be processed.

There are a few different places you can get your application accepted including regional passport agencies, local offices and registered passport expediting couriers. Whichever method you choose, you will need to make an appointment ahead of time and visit the facility or office. The cost of obtaining a passport is also dependent on how fast you need to have your application processed.

To get a passport quickly, you can apply at the Expedited passports near me. This government run service is available to customers who are traveling or submitting their applications for foreign visas within 14 days or 28 days, respectively. The process can be fairly simple, but during peak travel season there will be high volumes of people trying to submit their applications in person. This can lead to long lines and a wait of several hours in the building before you are given the opportunity to submit your application.

If you plan to apply at the NYC passport agency, you should arrive early to avoid a long wait. You will need to show up 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, and you must check in at the information desk once you are inside of the building. You will then need to go through security and may need to take a number before you are directed into the building to be seen by an interviewer. Once you have your appointment, it is a good idea to bring a copy of your DS-11 form and the required supporting documents to help speed up the process.

There are a few other places you can go in the city to have your application and photos accepted for processing. These include Bleeker Digital Solutions Professional Photo Lab, U.S. Passport Agency Express, and the FedEx Office Ship & Print Center. These locations are generally higher rated for quality of services, customer service and passport knowledge, but they are not in walking distance from the Federal Building. There is a Rite Aid located nearby, but this location has been known for slow service. Unless you are in a rush, it is usually better to go with one of the other options.
