David Ayer Reveals New Have a look at Jared Leto's Joker in "Suicide Squad"

David Ayer revealed a fresh look at Jared Leto's Joker on suicide squad, showing the villain preparing for therapy at Arkham Asylum.

Many fans were surprised to learn that Jared Leto will repeat his role as Joker for Justice League of the DC Extended Universe, although it's not clear how much screen time the character will get. David Ayer was an avid supporter of Leto's Joker after the actor's divisive performance, and the suicide squad director recently revealed a brand new look behind the scenes of the film. Ayer has been fairly open about his original version of the team supervillain movie recently, and has even given an honest opinion on his own editing of the DC movie.

David Ayer posted the new picture of Jared Leto's Joker on Instagram. It shows the villain wearing a straitjacket at Arkham Asylum for his therapy sessions with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn before she became his partner in crime. Due to the lighting in the Suicide Squad scene, Leto's haunting look is even more intense. It will be interesting to see if Leto sees the chance to bring something new to the villain when he appears in the new cut of the Zack Snyder film.
