Fantasy Soccer Begin & # 39; Em Sit & # 39; Em: Lineup recommendation for week eight, matchups, DFS suggestions
We have officially passed the middle of the fantasy football season and are starting to make decisions that are getting increasingly difficult. Injuries are on the rise, but perhaps more importantly, Sleepers have shown up and stayed constant while some notable players have disappointed. It's always difficult to bench a star like Josh Allen, David Montgomery, or Mike Evans, but matchups could dictate it this week. If you need that extra boost, our fantasy lineup advice for week 8 could tip the scales.
Based on matchups, situations, talents, and possible uses, here are the players to either avoid or use this week. Remember, four other teams – the Cardinals, Texans, Jaguars, and Washington – all have goodbye. That means no, including Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, Deshaun Watson, James Robinson and Terry McLaurin.
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who to Start: Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes, Chefs (versus NYJ), Aaron Rodgers, Packers (versus MIN), Russell Wilson, Seahawks (versus SF), Lamar Jackson, Ravens (versus PIT)
Tom Brady, privateer (at NYG). The Bucs' passing game is rolling and Antonio Brown will soon be joining the mix. You shouldn't have any problem taking advantage of the giants, even without Chris Godwin (finger).
Ryan Tannehill, Titans (at CIN). He's going to rebound with a greater performance because he's getting more support from the game in progress and we know what Baker Mayfield did in this matchup right now.
Carson Wentz, Eagles (v DAL). The Cowboys defenses are remedied at this point and he should have reinforcements for Sunday night.
Justin Herbert, Chargers (at DEN). The Broncos keep giving solid production to QBs, and he can get it done again with his arms and legs.
Matt Ryan, Falcons (at CAR). He was terrible in the first match, but Julio Jones changes everything for his worth. This week, expect the multiple results to come through the air.
Joe Burrow, Bengals (versus TEN). He should toss a ton on the opposite side of Ryan Tannehill again and the mistakes don't matter much.
Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers (at SEA $ 5,400 at DraftKings, $ 6,600 at FanDuel). Jimmy G had a strange game in New England, mostly looking good, but with two tips and no points. Without pressure from the Seahawks on Russell Wilson, he'll do a lot better.
Nick Foles, Bears (vs. NO, $ 5,800 at DraftKings, $ 6,700 at FanDuel). Foles is more of a potential tournament pile for Allen Robinson because of its volatility, but it should get a lot of rubbish against a still shaky Saints Secondary.
Derek Carr, Raiders (at CLE), Baker Mayfield, Browns (vs. LV)
WEEK 8 PPR RANKING:
Quarterback | Run back | Wide receiver | Narrow end | D / ST | Kicker
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who sits: Quarterbacks
Josh Allen, Bills (at NE). Suddenly we can't trust him at all and the Patriots are still pretty good pass defense and more vulnerable on the ground.
Drew Brees, saint (at CHI). The bears' passport defense is justifiably nasty, and he could be re-armed in a grainy, New Orleans attack, outdoors.
Kirk Cousins, Vikings (at GB). He can probably score more than 250 yards and two points, but there's no way you can play a game without multiple turnovers on the other side of Aaron Rodgers against a good pressure block.
Matthew Stafford, Lions (v IND). The Lions help him run the game and defense a lot more, and the rested Colts defense allows quarterbacks the fewest fantasy points.
Jared Goff, Rams (at MIA). This is a long trip in a short week and keeping the dolphins off is more difficult than you think. LA has to win again with the run.
Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers (at BAL). He's been in the air and the secondary ravens make it difficult for him when there are more sales in store.
Cam Newton, Patriots (at BUF). Do we think he'll get it right against a struggling Bills Pass defense? Absolutely not.
Philip Rivers, Colts (at DET), Daniel Jones, Giants (against TB)
WEEK 8 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Run back | Wide receiver | Narrow end | D / ST | Kicker
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who starts: Running backs
Derrick Henry, Titans (with CIN), Dalvin Cook, Vikings (when he comes back, or Alexander Mattison, with GB), Aaron Jones, Packers (when he comes back or Jamaal Williams, against MIN) Alvin Kamara, Saints (with CHI), Kareem Hunt, Browns (against LV), Josh Jacobs, Raiders (at CLE), Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (at PHI), Jonathan Taylor, Colts (at DET), Todd Gurley, Falcons (against CAR), Christian McCaffrey (if he comes back or Mike Davis against ATL), Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs (against NYJ), James Conner, Steelers (at BAL), Joe Mixon, Bengals (when he comes back, or Giovani Bernard against TEN)), Myles Gaskin, Delfine ( against LAR), Miles Sanders, Eagles (if he comes back, or Boston Scott against DAL)
Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers (at NYG). The Giants are bad enough against the run to give both players a head start in the second half.
Le & # 39; Veon Bell, Chiefs (v NYJ). The vengeance game narrative is real, and the Chiefs should operate by a large margin. Expect Bell to get a lot of work.
D’Andre Swift, Lions (v. IND). He, on the other hand, will be overwhelmed by Jonathan Taylor to prove who the better rookie is running back.
Darrell Henderson, Rams (at MIA). The bears 'game was rough because of the casual use of Malcolm Brown, but he was supposed to attack the dolphins' great defensive weakness.
JaMycal Hasty or Tevin Coleman, 49ers (at SEA). When Coleman is back, cheer him on against the Seahawks who fight their backs in the red zone and the receiving game. When Coleman (knee) is out, Hasty is worth using.
La & # 39; Mical Perine, Jets (at KC). Perine is the new guy in the backfield, and his volume can add up well in garbage time when the jets get another long look.
Jerick McKinnon, 49ers (at SEA $ 5,700 at DraftKings, $ 6,000 at FanDuel). McKinnon was "rested" in a coach's decision against the Patriots, but there is no choice as Jeff Wilson Jr. (ankle) comes to Raheem Mostert (ankle) on the shelf. He should at least be busy in passing without Deebo Samuel (thigh).
Latavius Murray, Saints (at CHI $ 4,300 at DraftKings, $ 5,100 at FanDuel). The Saints almost got him a TD last week, and they should stand firm to capitalize on their bear strengths and weaknesses. Note that he had a big game against these defense for Alvin Kamara last season.
WEEK 8 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who sits: Running Backs
David Montgomery, bears (against NO). Monty looked really bad in Los Angeles and the defense in New Orleans is worse, even at home. He's totally dependent on TD
Melvin Gordon, Broncos (v LAC). Revenge game narrative aside, the Chargers defenses are thought to bounce back and stuff it often.
Devin Singletary and Zack Moss, Bills (versus NE). It's hard to trust this committee that is slowly shifting to Moss. So don't expect a repeat of the 49ers against the Patriots.
All ravens (against PIT). Hard run defense. Tricky committee, even more random after parting without Mark Ingram. No thanks to J.K. Dobbins or Gus Edwards, unless you're desperate.
Adrian Peterson, Lions (v IND). Eventually there is a shift to Swift until Peterson is no longer playable.
All patriots (at BUF). We have no idea what to expect from this offense in the future.
All giants (against TB). Wayne Gallman is the guy with Devonta Freeman (ankle) and Dion Lewis who fumbled around but not against that defense.
WEEK 8 DFS CASH LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who should start: Broad recipients
Davante Adams, Packers (against MIN), Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, Falcons (at CAR), DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (against SF). Tyreek Hill Chiefs (v NYJ). Allen Robinson, Bears (versus NO), A.J. Brown, Titans (at CIN), D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson, Panthers (against ATL), Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (at PHI), Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, Rams (at MIA), Stefon Diggs, Bills (at NE), Kenny Golladay, Lions (IND ), Keenan Allen, Chargers (for DEN), Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, Vikings (for GB), Allen Robinson, Bears (if he plays against NO)
Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (at SEA). Without Deebo Samuel (thigh) he's the right person to talk to for Jimmy G. Look for big things against secondary school.
Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins, Bengals (versus TEN). The beat continues against a team that didn't cover the slot or the Steelers.
Travis Fulgham, Eagles (v DAL). He's in a different location than Carson Wentz's contact person.
Marquise Brown, Ravens (at PIT). He's going to be playing a home run against a secondary player who's really struggling to give up big games.
Scotty Miller, privateer (at NYG). He's still linked to Tom Brady, even though you know who joined the team for the deep.
Sterling Shepard, Giants (versus TB). He will put up some garbage statistics with his good routing and under production.
Corey Davis, Titans (at CIN). He is involved again and the matchup is good against A.J. Brown.
Nelson Agholor, Raiders (at CLE $ 4,700 at DraftKings, $ 5,000 at FanDuel). He's rightly the best non-Darren Waller option for Derek Carr, and he's going to stay hot against this high school.
Rashard Higgins, Browns (vs. LV, $ 4,200 at DraftKings, $ 5,500 at FanDuel). He has a really good connection with Baker Mayfield and could be number 1 in the future. He will eat matchup in this cake.
A.J. Green, Bengals (versus TEN, $ 4,500 at DraftKings, $ 5,800 at FanDuel). Green has been getting up to speed lately, and the Titans cornerbacks are slow against his still fast-paced self.

Fantasy Football Week 8 Who sits: Broad recipients
Mike Evans, privateer (at NYG). It is clear that he hurts more than we know. Right now, Scotty Miller is up in the pecking order along with Gronk, and Evans got to see a good part of James Bradberry.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool, Steelers (at BAL). The Ravens cornerbacks are tough and this feels like a grumpy, low-score game with all three guys producing little overall.
Michael Gallup, Cowboys (at PHI). It was destroyed when he lost Dak Prescott.
Mike Williams, Chargers (at DEN). Justin Herbert feeds too many broad receiving mouths, and he often isn't.
Darius Slayton, Giants (versus TB). Carlton Davis threatens reporting to contain him in the field.
Jarvis Landry, Browns (v LV). I still don't feel it for him without an OBJ.
Cole Beasley, Bills (versus NE). It cools down again in the slot.
Tre & # 39; Quan Smith, saint (at CHI). Difficult matchup and you can't trust it even if the role is "expanded".
All patriots (at BUF). It's so ugly now without Julian Edelman and N & # 39; Keal Harry.

Fantasy Football Week 8 Who Starts: Tight Ends
Travis Kelce, Chiefs (against NYJ), George Kittle, 49ers (at SEA), Mark Andrews, Ravens (against PIT), Darren Waller, Raiders (at CLE), Dallas Goedert, Eagles (if he comes back, against DAL))
Hunter Henry, Chargers (at DEN). He's disappointed with Justin Herbert continuing to distribute the ball, but he should find the end zone this week.
Rob Gronkowski, privateer (at NYG). He starts to live with two big weeks old and the giants cannot cover him.
Jared Cook, saint (at CHI). He should be dealing with the wide receiver problems again, and the bears cannot cover the narrow end in the red zone.
Jimmy Graham, bears (against NO). Revenge game and great matchup. He hits again.
Eric Ebron, Steelers (at BAL). It is better to attack the Ravens with linebacker and security than with cornerback.
Dalton Schultz, Cowboys (at PHI). This could be the only productive passport catcher for them who is underneath with this QB mayhem.
Drew Sample, Bengals (against TEN). Digger deeper, he's had a big game and the Titans can't cover the position well
Mike Gesicki, dolphins (against LAR). He is their slot recipient, and Tua Tagovailoa will trust him the most as a security blanket.
Jonnu Smith, Titans (at CIN $ 4,100 at DraftKings, $ 6,100 at FanDuel). He was calm last week but he'll rebound great in a great matchup for Derek Henry and Ryan Tannehill.
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who sits: Tight ends
T.J. Hockenson, Lions (versus IND). The Colts are the stingiest team against the tight end.
Robert Tonyan, Packers (at MIN). Now suddenly it's a TE committee that hurts him in a bad match.
Trey Burton, Colts (at DET). The Lions cover the position well as well.
All Broncos (vs. LAC). Albert O? Oh no for Noah Fant.
All Aries (at MIA). They left Mundt-dane with a new tight end and Tyler Higbee's hand injury.
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who to Start: Defense
Chiefs (against NYJ), Buccaneers (against NYG), Eagles (against DAL), Chargers (against DEN), Rams (against MIA), Titans (against CIN), Bills (against NE), Patriots (against BUF)), Ravens (against PIT), Steelers (at BAL)
Packer (vs. MIN, $ 4,000 at DraftKings, $ 2,900 at FanDuel). We told you that Kirk Cousins doesn't protect the ball well in one-dimensional shootout or catchup mode. Green Bay is as low as possible to get a decent return on both locations.
Fantasy Football Week 8 Who sits: Defense
Colts (at DET), Saints (at CHI), Bears (against NO), Broncos (against LAC), Seahawks (against SF), 49ers (against SEA), Browns (against LV), Panthers (against ATL), Lions ( vs. IND)
