Finn Wolfhard shares update on ‘Stranger Things 4’ release

Finn Wolfhard teases when fans can expect Stranger Things to return to Netflix for season four after the production delay.

Stranger Things, like most productions in the past year, was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Season four production resumed in October after the main photography had just started. Filming of Stranger Things 4 is still ongoing, but if COVID never affected filming, David Harbor announced that the season was originally due to hit Netflix earlier this year.

Some fans are hopeful that the next season of Stranger Things will happen this year as production is back up, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In a recent interview shared by Stranger Things Spoilers, Finn Wolfhard said the next season wouldn’t come until next year if asked:

“Season 4? Hopefully it should come out sometime next year.”
