Pedro Pascal reveals the ultimate director of the second season of "The Mandalorian"

The Ant-Man director is the only one directing two episodes this season.

Pedro Pascal announced that Ant-Man director Peyton Reed was hosting the second season finale of The Mandalorian with Disney Plus on Friday.

The Mandalorian Season 2 continued the live-action Star Wars show's trend of having well-known directors behind each chapter. Ant-Man's Peyton Reed was one of the directors on The Mandalorian's season two episode "Chapter 10: The Passenger". With all known directors each having an episode before the finale, many Star Wars fans have speculated about who directed the season finale. In a few hours, Pedro Pascal has announced who this director is.

While promoting Wonder Woman 1984 in an interview with Extra, Pedro Pascal talks about the various directors of The Mandalorian he has worked with and admits that Peyton Reed was the one behind the upcoming finale, which this Friday comes:

“The amazing thing about it is the work the directors put out there. The final episode of The Mandalorian's second season is Peyton Reed. Rick Famuyiwa just released the latest episode. Patty Jenkins has Wonder Woman and obviously Robert Rodriguez with We Can Be Heroes ; I've been really lucky. I've been with some really talented people. "
