Raiders CB Kemah Siverand arrested after road racing

Potential NFL cornerback Kemah Siverand continues to face problems off the field. He was reportedly arrested and charged with a crime in the early hours of Saturday early Saturday in Houston police station.

Siverand, 24, tried to make the Seattle Seahawks’ list at training camp last year but was cut by the team in August after he was caught trying to sneak a female companion into the team hotel despite COVID-19 restrictions.

He was inducted into the Las Vegas Raiders practice group last year and signed a futures contract with the Raiders in January. The Texas A&M and Oklahoma State product has yet to be played in an NFL game.

Siverand was first stopped by officers after five vehicles were found on the road, according to a Houston police report on Monday. Siverand was one of three stopped vehicles, but “drove another mile before stopping”.

The raiders have not yet commented on the incident.
