RunCode

The annual programming competition Runcode.ninja is back in its fourth year from Friday, November 6th. RunCode is a not-for-profit organization staffed by volunteers who work in their free time and focus on providing educational opportunities for programmers and Infosec people. The online event enables programmers of all skill levels to master a variety of challenges using one of 14 programming languages supported.

This year the competition theme is "All Things Web". This means that most of the challenges have to do with websites. Although the "something" can vary quite drastically, from user interaction to server log analysis. The event has more than 30 available challenges, divided into easy, medium and difficult, for which competitors can find and upload solutions.

For each challenge, participants will receive a problem description, sample dataset, and expected output to help clarify the desired order and formatting. Competitors are expected to generate more of their own test data and thoroughly check the correctness of their code using all possible corner cases. Solutions tested only against the sample data provided are unlikely to meet the challenge. Uploaded code is executed in a Docker container with sandbox and its output is checked for correctness. advertising

Amazon gift cards ($ 100, $ 200, $ 300, $ 400, and $ 500) will be given to this year's top 5 finishers. The event begins Friday, November 6th at 4:00 p.m. EST and continues through Monday, November 9th at 8:00 a.m. EST. Interested and potential programmers can register at https://2020.runcode.ninja/quick_reg. This is a completely different registry than the main page, which allows you to view and solve challenges at any time. I like.
