See KJ Apa turns into Wally West for Grant Gustin's "The Flash"
Riverdale star KJ Apa transforms into Wally West in a fantastic new concept design for Grant Gustin's The Flash.
Although Keiynan Lonsdale had already played Wally West in Grant Gustin's The Flash, some fans were excited to see a version of the hero from an alternate universe in the Arrowverse. While Lonsdale's version of the Speedster was heavily inspired by the New 52 era of the DC Comics character, it would be interesting to see how the show fits in with the original redheaded version of Wally West. And there's a name that has come up a few times before: Riverdales KJ Apa.
A fan-cut by digital artist jph_photoshop on Instagram shows KJ Apa Wally West's red costume from the DC Rebirth era, where the character was revived after the birth of continuity (thanks to Doctor Manhattan interference). The artist stated that Grant Gustin's The Flash could easily put Wally back on the show by saying he was from a different timeline following the death of Barry Allen's mother. The two pictures on the Instagram post give KJ Apa a silver design, similar to his current costume as well as the gold emblem, which is based on Wally's time as the main version of The Flash after Barry's death in the comics. You can see KJ Apa as Wally West below.

Here is the official recap of Grant Gustin's seventh season The Flash:
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a constantly belated C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry's life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, causing a dark matter thunderstorm that hit Barry, giving him superspeed, and making him the fastest man alive – The Flash. After an exciting cliffhanger last season in which the new Mirror Master (Efrat Dor) was victorious in Central City and still at large, The Flash must regroup to stop them and find a way to make contact with his missing Mrs. Iris West to include Allen (Candice Patton).
With the help of the rest of Team Flash, which includes superheroes Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) and Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), as well as Flash's adoptive father Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), meta-lawyer Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), die-hard reporter Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton), and brilliant tech nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight) … Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. In the process, however, he will also unleash an even stronger and more devastating threat to Central City: one that threatens to tear his team – and his marriage – apart.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.
The Flash will return to The CW in 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Grant Gustins The Flash and Riverdale star KJ Apa and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content.
