See Woody Harrelson because the carnage for Tom Hardy's "Venom 2"

A new picture shows Zombielands star Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady for Tom Hardy's Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Although Venom: Let There Be Carnage (like most of the big blockbusters last year) has been postponed to June 5, 2021, a new image of Woody Harrelson within the Carnage symbiote for the sequel to Tom Hardy has arrived online. Harrelson, of course, appeared at the end of the first film when Eddie Brock interviewed him in jail, but after seeing the star's recent set photos, many fans are glad that the actor dropped the curly red wig to show the villain play.

The new pic of "ediyulika" on Instagram shows what Woody Harrelson's terrifying symbiote might look like in live action, borrowing from the character's gross body horror nature. The black stripes that stretch across Cletus Kasady pay homage to the fact that Carnage was born out of the Venom symbiote, which hopefully should be adjusted in some way during the sequel. Hopefully the Tom Hardy movie will lean on the truly terrifying threat posed by Woody Harrelson's serial killer. Take a look below.

Are you glad Woody Harrelson isn't wearing the wig for the sequel? What do you think of the Carnage design? Are you excited to see Woody Harrelson as the classic villain for the sequel to Venom? Sound off in the comments below!

Here's the recap of the first Venom movie:

The evolutionary story of Marvel's most enigmatic, complex, and worst character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after losing everything, including his job and fiancée. Especially when his life is at its lowest, he becomes the host of an alien symbiote that leads to extraordinary superpowers – and turns him into poison. Will these powers be enough for this new deadly protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more armed symbiotic rival Riot?

Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, Venom stars will star Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones and Woody Harrelson.

Venom is now available for Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. Meanwhile, Let There Be Carnage is slated to open in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Woody Harrelson, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood's YouTube channel for more content!
