The place is School GameDay this week? Location, schedule, visitor choice for week eight on ESPN

"College GameDay" is making its way into the Big Ten for the first time in 2020 this week.

This week the GameDay crew will be previewing the first matchup of the Big Ten season: # 18 Michigan (9-4 in 2019) versus # 21 Minnesota (11-2). Both teams will look to get the season off to a strong start, with each game having an even bigger impact due to the shortened COVID-19 season.

There is also the battle for the most famous trophy in college football: the Little Brown Jug.

Tanner Morgan, arguably the Big Ten's best quarterback outside of Justin Fields, Ohio, will lead the Gophers against the Wolverines. He finished his 2019 campaign with 210 of 318 passes (66 percent) for 3,253 yards and 30 touchdowns to seven interceptions. But how will the defense – which ranked 10th nationwide last season – fare without seven of their top eight tacklers as of 2019?

Conversely, Michigan will start a new quarterback in Joe Milton. It is apparently the only position Jim Harbaugh has struggled to develop, and his Saturday performance could go a long way in determining the Wolverines' 2020 season.
