Vaccinated? Get a special discount from Reliance General now when you purchase or renew an insurance policy
Reliance General Insurance has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety of its customers by actively promoting the COVID-19 vaccination drive and rewarding customers who have already taken a stab.
The company wants to provide extra relief to its customers who are in the process of buying or renewing their health insurance with the general insurance company by offering an additional one-time discount of 5 percent to customers who have taken COVID-19 vaccination.
Reliance Health Infinity Insurance is comprehensive health insurance. Health insurance can be chosen as an individual plan or as a family floater basis with coverage options from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 1 crore. The policy has no lower limits, offers inpatient care, day care procedures, in-house hospitalization, organ donation, pre- and post-hospital medical expenses, recovery benefits, and a 90-day free cancellation option.
Rakesh Jain, CEO of Reliance General Insurance, said, “We would like to thank IRDAI for specifically approving the Covid Vaccine rebate for our Health Infinity product at a time when everyone has to come together and fight the effects of the virus together. While we have always encouraged individuals to insure themselves against a medical emergency, this time around we want to do more. With this incentive, we would like to encourage individuals to prioritize their health at this critical hour and get vaccinated at the earliest. “
The additional one-time discount of 5 percent on the Reliance Health Infinity policy is in addition to the other discounts that apply at the time of purchase of the policy, making the premium extremely affordable. The offer can also be used by existing policyholders on their extension premium. Customers who have already vaccinated themselves with the first dose can take advantage of this benefit.
Starting May 1st, anyone over the age of 18 can get a COVID-19 vaccination as the government has accelerated the vaccination process to wage war on COVID-19.
The company says the initiative exemplifies RGI’s philosophy of putting community first and underscores the integral role organizations can play in the health and wellbeing of society at large. It’s also a step in the right direction as India continues to fight the pandemic.
