The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has decided to keep three categories of Prasad.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has started a new initiative in which “Pooja Prasad” is delivered to the houses of the devotees. The board has teamed up with the postal department for the services, the ANI news agency tweeted. With the coronavirus outbreak, there are many devotees unable to visit the shrine in Jammu. Hence, Prasad from the three peaks, popularly known as "Trikuta", is sent to homes.

The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has decided to keep three categories of Prasad. The services introduced by the Board of Directors are profit-oriented and loss-free. The tweet said these services can be booked through the Shrine Board's official website or that followers can also book their Prasad through phone mode. The three available Prasad packages cost Rs 500, Rs 1100 and Rs 2100. As soon as someone has booked Prasad, SMVDSB ensures that the “pooja” is carried out on behalf of a devotee. "Prasad" will be mailed within 72 hours of the pooja, quoted ANI Ramesh Kumar Jangid, CEO of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.

A box is sent on delivery, in which, depending on the pack, pooja prasad packages, a holy book, rakha threads, silver coins, dried fruits and a piece of red cloth (symbolic of the deity Vaishno Devi) are placed. According to some media reports, deliveries will be made across India.

Soon devotees will also experience the shrine's “living darshan”. A report by PTI highlighted that the board will launch an app on October 17 that will be used by people across the country during & # 39; Navratri & # 39; have a look at the temple cave and the shrine. The Yatra according to Vaishno Devi resumed from August 16 and can be offered by devotees to perform prayers and other rituals on site.
