When does the NASCAR race begin immediately? TV program, channel for Wenesday's postponed race in Texas

There are only two races left before the NASCAR Cup Series championship. This makes the round of 16 in Texas the penultimate opportunity for the slumped competitors to win a title.

However, you'll have to wait a few extra days after the fog canceled the competition on Sunday and washed out on Monday and Tuesday. It will restart on Wednesday afternoon in lap 53.

Kurt Busch will almost certainly have to win one of the next two games to advance to Phoenix, and Martin Truex Jr. and Alex Bowman are also more than 20 points below the limit.

Joey Logano is the only safe driver to board the EchoPark Automotive 500 autotrader after winning last weekend in the persistent Texas heat. His Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski is well positioned to join him in the final but has a lot to do.

The drivers of the Cup series who are still eligible for the championship are listed below, sorted by points:

Item driver Distance to the cut-off
1 Joey Logano ADV
2 Kevin Harvick +41
3 Denny Hamlin +20
4th Brad Keselowski +8
5 Chase Elliott -8th
6th Alex Bowman -27
7th Martin Truex Jr. -51
8th Kurt Busch -73

Which channel is NASCAR running on today?

The crucial race in Texas is shown on NBCSN – not NBC – at a somewhat confusing drag given the stakes of the occasion. While NBCSN is part of many cable packages, showing the race on NBC could likely have increased the audience.

Either way, the drama should be high for those who tune in. There have been a number of personal rivalries growing in ferocity over the past few weeks, mostly with the involvement of Joey Logano.

The NBCSN network has a channel search feature that allows viewers to find the TV channel options in their areas.

As with all Cup Series races on NBC and NBCSN this season, Rick Allen, with support from analysts Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte, will be calling the race in Texas on Wednesday.

Spectators in Canada can catch this week's NASCAR race on TSN.

NASCAR live stream for the Texas race

Anyone with a cable or satellite subscription can stream Monday's NASCAR race live at Texas Motor Speedway via or the NBC Sports app. This should be the preferred route for any viewer who has such a subscription but is unable to get in front of their television.

For those who don't have a cable or satellite subscription, there are five OTT TV streaming options that broadcast NBC and NBCSN – Sling, Hulu, YouTubeTV, fuboTV, and AT&T Now. Of the five, Hulu, YouTubeTV, and fuboTV offer free trial options.

NASCAR 2020 schedule

NASCAR continues to be committed to 36 races this season, four of which were completed before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the sports world to a standstill.

Despite so many changes to the regular season schedule, NASCAR is keeping its 10 fall playoff races intact and on their original tracks. Below is the playoff schedule, which has Wednesday's race in Texas in bold.

Another race in Darlington took place on May 20th instead of the originally planned April 19th race in Richmond. The Charlotte race on May 27 took the place of the Sonoma race originally scheduled for June 14.

The Pocono double header stayed as planned on the last weekend in June, and the Cup Series ran on consecutive days. These races were featured on Fox (and FS1) rather than NBC. Fox & # 39; s ended its coverage this season with the All-Star Race in Bristol on July 15th.

Previously postponed races in Dover and Michigan became part of the double heads Saturday through Sunday on those respective circuits in August.

With people quarantined for 14 days in New York after arriving from one of the states hard hit by COVID-19 (including North Carolina), the Watkins Glen race was moved to the Daytona street circuit on August 16 . According to The Athletic, NASCAR attempted to obtain a waiver of quarantine for its Watkins Glen races, but was rejected by Governor Andrew Cuomo's office.

The race on August 16 was the first race of the NASCAR Cup Series on the Daytona road.
